Indian Cook

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Indian Cook who can prepare authentic Indian cuisine with attention to taste, presentation, and hygiene. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in traditional and regional Indian dishes and cooking techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare a wide variety of Indian dishes including curries, tandoori, breads, and rice items.
Ensure food is cooked and presented according to recipes and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Monitor food inventory and assist with stock control and procurement.
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
Coordinate with the kitchen team for smooth and timely service.
Innovate and suggest new dishes for menu development.

Requirements

Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Indian cook in a restaurant or catering setup.
Proficiency in cooking both vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian dishes.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and safety protocols.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a strong work ethic and passion for Indian cuisine.
